AO Honors Dr. Christine Kondoleon

The Alpha Omega Council Board of Trustees and members are proud and privileged to announce Dr. Christine Kondoleon, Ph.D., as the recipient of the Alpha Omega Council 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award.

Dr. Kondoleon is a renowned scholar, author, curator and the George D. and Margo Behrakis Chair, Art of Ancient Greece and Rome at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston.  Most recently, Dr. Kondoleon directed a stunning renovation of the Greek and Roman collections at the MFA, reintroducing us to one of the greatest collections in the world of classical art.

After nearly two years of pandemic related delays, we are excited to announce we will present the 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award to Dr. Christine Kondoleon at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston on Thursday evening, October 20th, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. 

Please join us for a cocktail reception followed by dinner and award presentation.  Following the award program, all guests are invited to explore the beautiful George D. & Margo Behrakis Wing for Art of the Ancient World.
